Bio: Diane Rinaldo joined Yahoo! in March of 2003 and is currently the Director of Political Advertising. Rinaldo’s Politics team is tasked with growing this young market through industry education and outreach, product development and sales. The team specializes in both Search Marketing and Display advertising for campaigns and issue and advocacy advertisers. Already Yahoo! has established a foothold in the internet advertising space with ClickZ recognizing Yahoo! as having the “lion’s share of presidential campaign ads this year.” (2007) Rinaldo’s team has led the industry in using data to target users and providing new insights for the Political and advocacy industry.

Prior to joining Politics Rinaldo was Managing Director of the Retail Category at Yahoo!. In this role, Rinaldo oversaw the company's retail category initiatives, specializing in growing search marketing through research, data analysis and one on one consulting with the nation’s largest retailers.

Prior to joining Yahoo!, Rinaldo opened Microsoft’s first East Coast sales office for MSN and went on to specialize in retail as the Eastern Sales Manager of Retail. Previously she was Vice President of Media Sales for Warner Bros. and began her career at advertising agencies Foote Cone and Belding, and DMB&B. She earned a B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
